Frances C. Redcay, 86, formerly of Reinholds, homemaker, was active at OMPH
Frances C. Redcay, 86, of Lititz, died June 20, 2014, at Luther Acres Healthcare Center.
She was married to Richard S. Redcay who predeceased her in 2012. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Edna Gantert.
She moved to a farm in the Reinholds area where she met her future husband. She worked in the knitting mill industry in the Reinholds/Denver area.
She was a member of the Ephrata VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Prior to moving to Luther Acres she was an active member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church.
She was a homemaker who loved quilting and raised four daughters: Linda Wilson, Debra Ebersole, Barbara Kehler, and Tina Stewart. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister: Ruth Coldren; and two brothers: Paul A. Gantert, Jr. and Robert Gantert.
Services were held June 25 at Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, Denver, with Father John McLoughlin C.SS.R. as celebrant. Interment was at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring.
