George H. Reider, 56, Polymar maintenance operator, Grace Point member, enjoyed fishing

George H. Reider, 56, of Denver, passed away Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016, at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.
He was born in Ephrata to the late George H. Sweigart Sr. and Mary (Bickhart) Reider, and was the husband of Mary G. (Nixdorf) Reider.
George was a maintenance operator for Polymar. He was an avid fisherman, and attended Grace Point Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to his wife, George is survived by two sons: Dustin C., husband of Mayericka Reider, of North Carolina; Brandon B. Reider of Arizona; two grandchildren: Katherine C. Reider, Gavin Hendrix; three brothers: Richard Reider, Harry Reider, John Reider; seven sisters: Evelyn Stover, Marlene Zechman, Jane Hauer, Irene Benn, Bessie Reider, Grace Shepler, Elva Horning; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Ron Robert Reider.
A memorial service was held Sept. 23 at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, Ephrata, with Rev. Ken Higginbotham officiating.
