Glenn Showalter, 62, Terre Hill Concrete, Good’s Disposal
Glenn L. Showalter, 62, of Lititz, passed away Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013, at the Ephrata Community Hospital.
He was born in Ephrata to the late Luke and Arlene (Spang) Showalter and was the husband of Debbie (Seibert) Showalter with whom he shared 21 years of marriage.
Glenn was a member of the Grace Church, Ephrata. He had worked at Terre Hill Concrete and Good’s Disposal. He enjoyed puzzles, sports and NASCAR.
In addition to his wife, Glenn is survived by two sons: Kevin L. Showalter of Charlotte, N.C.; Matthew Showalter at home; a daughter: Melissa R. Taborda Showalter at home; two brothers: Rev. Jay, husband of Miriam (Hoover) Showalter of Ephrata; Luke Showalter Jr. of Elizabethtown and two sisters: Martha, wife of Bruce Martin of Terre Hill and Cheryl Zwally of Ephrata.
A funeral was held Dec. 4 at the Ephrata United Zion Church, Ephrata with Pastor Kim Robertson officiating. Interment took place in the Blainsport Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Glenn’s memory may be made to Grace Church, 62 Hahnstown Rd., Ephrata, PA 17522.
