Grace E. Seifrit, 97, worked at Ix Silk Mill, member of Muddy Creek Lutheran Church

Grace E. Seifrit, 97, formerly of Fivepointville, died Sept. 29, 2017, in Ephrata Manor.

Born in Fivepointville, a daughter of the late Harry T. and Lillie S. (Good) Brendle, she was a member of Muddy Creek Lutheran Church, and had worked at Ix Silk Mill, New Holland. Grace belonged to various area senior groups.

She was predeceased by her husband: Ernest S. Seifrit, on Oct. 27, 1983; a son: Robert E. Seifrit; granddaughter: Amy C. Bryant; and siblings: Estella, Howard, John, Jerry, Lester, Earl, and Eugene Brendle; and Mary Flory.

Surviving are her daughter: Diane L. Seifrit, Denver; sons: Lamar E. (Nancy Steffy) Seifrit, Denver; and William P. (Ann Cole) Seifrit, Narvon; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a brother: Clair (Alverta Carvell) Brendle, Ephrata.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 11 a.m., from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, with The Rev. Peter Schwabe-Fry officiating. A viewing will be held two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Muddy Creek Cemetery, Swartzville.
