Henry H. Garman, 81, farmer, truck driver, father of six, Meadow Valley Mennonite member

Henry H. Garman, 81, of Stevens, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Fairmount Homes.

He was born in West Earl Township to the late Christian S. and Laura E. (Hollinger) Garman, and was the husband of Katie N. (Good) Garman, with whom he shared 18 years of marriage.

A farmer and a truck driver, Henry was a member of Meadow Valley Mennonite Church.

In addition to his wife, Henry is survived by five sons: Eugene, husband of Elaine Garman of Schuylkill Haven; Clair, husband of Shirley Garman of Pine Grove; Lester, husband of Edna Mae Garman; Henry Garman Jr., both of New Bloomfield; Wilmer, husband of Mary Garman of Spencer, Wisc.; a daughter: Laura, wife of Joel Fox of Landisburg; 37 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and a brother: Lloyd H., husband of Luella Garman of Myerstown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife: Edna M. (Newswanger) Garman in 1997; and a grandson.

Services were held July 17 at Meadow Valley Mennonite Church, Ephrata, with Bishop Melvin Martin officiating. Interment took place in the church cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
