Hilda Nora Ernst, 90, Denver, Keystone Nitewear seamstress, attended St. John’s UCC
Hilda Nora Ernst, 90, of Denver, passed away Monday, Oct. 19, 2015, at home.
She was born in Millcreek Township to the late Milton and Nora Forry and was the wife of the late Roy Ernst, with whom she shared 49 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 1995.
She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Denver, and was a loving mother and grandma. Hilda worked as a seamstress for Keystone Nitewear, retiring after 40 years.
Hilda is survived by son: Donald, husband of Patricia Ernst, of Denver; four grandchildren: Kimberly Coble, Donald Ernst Jr., Cindy Leach, and Susie Baringer; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Barbara Diem; and six siblings, Alvin, Pharus, Samuel, Esther, Susan, and Eva.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
