Howard W. Miller, 87, Korea vet, Mason, Lindenmeyr Munroe Paper inventory manager

Howard W. Miller, 87, of Denver, and formerly of Folsom, Delaware County, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017, at Masonic Village in Elizabethtown.

Howard was the loving husband of the late Phyllis A. (Jahn) Miller, who passed away April 14, 2013. Born in Williamsport, Howard was a son of the late Clarence E. Miller and Marion R. (Gray) Miller.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and worked as an inventory manager for the Lindenmeyr Munroe Paper Company of Mount Joy. Howard was a member of First Church in Ephrata, and was a Free & Accepted Mason.

Howard is survived by three children: Lea A. Nester of Allentown; Bruce R. Miller (Rebecca) of Denver; and Janice L. Cordes (John) of Bechtelsville; and seven grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, Howard was preceded in death by three siblings: Ethel, Edwin, and Robert.

Funeral services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
