Jacob G. Reiff, 88, farmer, father of four, Meadow Valley Mennonite Church member
Jacob G. Reiff, 88, of Lititz, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Fairmount Homes.
He was born in Lancaster to the late David and Annie (Good) Reiff, and was the husband of the late Katie K. (Sensenig) Reiff who died in 2014.
He was a member of Meadow Valley Mennonite Church (Weaverland Conference). Jacob was a faithful, godly husband, father and grandfather. He was a farmer most of his life and in recent years he provided transportation to the local community.
Jacob is survived by three children: Wilmer, husband of Lorraine (Good) Reiff, of Annville; Glenn, husband of Charlene (Nolt) Reiff, of Lititz; Anna Mae, wife of Earl Reiff, of Ephrata; a son-in-law: Ervin, husband of Joyce Q. Good, of Brickerville; 12 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Lena Kurtz of Ephrata and Anna Martin of New Holland.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter: Erla Good; two brothers: Samuel and Phares Reiff; and a great-grandson: Duane Petre.
Services were held April 17 at Meadow Valley Mennonite Church, Ephrata, with Bishop Lester Martin officiating. Interment took place in the adjoining church cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
