James W. Stahl, 86, Ephrata Twp. native, Korea vet, Ford New Holland employee

James W. Stahl, 86, formerly of East Cocalico Township, Denver, died Monday, May 11, 2015, in Denver Health & Rehab Center, Stevens.

Born in Ephrata Township. a son of the late Samuel and Sarah (Weber) Stahl, his wife, Jane (Wanner) Stahl, died July 2, 2000.

A member of Reamstown Church of God, he was a Korean War Army veteran and worked for Ford New Holland and Stunzi Silk Mill.

Surviving is a son: David L. Stahl, Ephrata; daughter: Diane L. Sylvester, Denver; grandchildren: Lisa N. and Scott A. Sylvester; and great-granddaughter: Aria S.

Nine siblings predeceased him.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 16, at 10 a.m., from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, with Rev. Arthur T. Karick, officiating. Burial will follow in Martin’s Cemetery, Red Run. The viewing will be Friday, May 15, from 6 to 8 p.m.
