Jean H. Hornberger, 90, formerly of Brownstown, worked at Hartman’s Store, Oregon Dairy

Jean H. Hornberger, 90, of the Keystone Villa at Ephrata, formerly of Brownstown, entered into rest on Monday, April 17, 2017.

Born in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late John K. and Emma Hoover Maser. She was the loving wife of the late Richard W. Hornberger, who died on April 29, 2015.

Jean was a store clerk at the former Hartman’s Store, Brownstown; and Oregon Dairy.

She is survived by a daughter: Doris Hornberger, Lancaster; a son: Dennis, married to Deborah Long Hornberger, Lititz; grandchildren: Melinda (Daniel Hershey), Matthew (Amy Bucher), Amanda (Dennis Bakay); and great-grandchildren: Ethan and Dylan Hershey.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Melissa Hornberger; brothers: Jack, Jim and Ben Maser; and sisters, Esther Myer and Marian Gamber.

Private interment of ashes will be in Conestoga Memorial Park.
