Jeffrey L. Rudy, 67, GSM plasma cutter, devoted to his wife, collected antique tackle

Jeffrey L. Rudy, 67, of Ephrata, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.

He was born in Ephrata to the late Dolores P. (Rudy) Sechrist, and was the husband of Terri L. (Stormfeltz) Rudy, with whom he shared 18 years of marriage.

Jeffrey was a plasma cutter operator for GSM industrial and previously worked for Clair Brothers Audio. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially the beach, fishing, and collecting antique tackle. He loved music, animals, and adored his wife Terri.

In addition to his wife, Jeffrey is survived by his father: James E. Sechrist of Ephrata; a brother: Lon G. Wolf of New Holland; two sisters: Bonnie Weaver of Lorena, Texas; Sherry, wife of Kevin Kapp, of Manheim; and his in-laws: John and Pat Stormfeltz of Lebanon.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, Sept. 16, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Ave., Ephrata, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
