Joan A. Eifert, 78, Denver, died Wednesday Feb. 19, 2014, in Ephrata Hospital.

Born in Kenhorst, a daughter of the late Emanuel and Florence (Leininger) Eifert, she was a 1953 Mt. Penn High School graduate. A former member of Spies Lutheran Church, she worked for CNA Insurance, Reading, and was an antique dealer specializing in fancy glass. Joan enjoyed quilting and knitting and cherished her Scottie dogs.

Surviving is a sister: Linda G. Weiss, Wernersville; nieces and nephews and her Scottish Terrier: “Buddy.” A sister, Evelyn Lang, and longtime friend and companion, Kenneth K. Bingaman, predeceased her.

Join in the memorial celebration of Joan’s life on March 1, at 1 p.m. in Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Reamstown (goodfuneral.com). Private inurnment in Spies Zion Cemetery, Alsace Twp.
