Joseph R. Miller, 75, Ephrata, Jade Corp. driver, loved music and movies

Joseph R. Miller, 75, Ephrata, passed away March 11, 2016, following a lengthy, courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Philadelphia on Feb. 1, 1941, he was a son of the late Walter and Margaret (Dempsey) Miller.

Joe was a truck driver for Jade Corp., Huntingdon Valley, and enjoyed movies and music of all kinds.

Surviving is his wife of 52 years: Carol S. Miller, Ephrata; sons: Joseph Miller Jr., fiancé of Gayle Faust, Ashland; and Michael, married to Patty Miller, Fleming Island, Fla.; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; sisters: Catherine Graham and Marge Bennett, both of Philadelphia; sister-in-law: Barbara Bortz, Lancaster; and “adopted” grandchildren: Koty and Hannah, who had a special place in his heart.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, from Good Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with Pastor Dave Boudwin officiating. Joe’s body was donated to science.
