Judith Lynn Kiick, 71, Ephrata, Monroe County secretary, avid reader, caring wife

Judith Lynn Kiick, 71, of Ephrata, died Sunday, March 27, 2016, at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.

She was the loving wife of Kirby Kiick, to whom she was married for more than 49 years. Born in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Molly (Walz) Haas.

Judy was a 1962 graduate of Wilson Borough High School and was a secretary with the Monroe County Assistance Office for 15 years prior to her retirement. She was an avid reader, caring wife, mother, grandmothe,r and was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church in Lancaster.

In addition to her husband, Kirby, she is survived by two daughters: Kristi Lynn Kiick, wife of Rick Beyer, of Rising Sun, Md.; and Karen Marie Kiick, wife of Michael Scotko, of Collingswood, N.J.; two grandsons: Yegor Beyer-Kiick and Kostya Beyer-Kiick; two brothers: Jere Haas, husband of Marta, of Belfast; and Bob Haas, husband of Beverly, of Tatamy.

Friends will be received from 10:30 to 11 a.m. with a memorial service beginning at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 31, at Highland Presbyterian Church, 500 E. Roseville Road, Lancaster, PA 17601. Interment will be held in the church’s Memorial Garden.
