Julian Herbert Williams, 76, Stevens, nuclear engineer for Nuclear Regulatory Commission

Julian Herbert Williams, 76, of Stevens, went to be with the Lord Friday March, 18, 2016.

“Herb” was born in Richmond, Va., and was the husband to Patsy Crane Williams for 53 years.

He was a proud Hokie graduate from Virginia Tech and obtained his master’s degree at Catholic University. Herb was a dedicated nuclear engineer and retired with 38 years of civil service work from the Tennessee Valley Authority and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children: Tara Williams Sellers, wife of Mark Sellers, of Lampeter; H. Reade Williams, husband to Deborah Williams, of Marietta; and Patrick Grant Williams, husband to Stephanie Williams, of Lancaster. He was very proud of his eight grandchildren. Additionally, he is survived by his brother: John Williams; and two sisters: Anne Kirby and Mary Williams, all from the Richmond, Va., area.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz. Interment will be private.
