Justin Payne Andrew, 85, Martin Limestone driver
Justin Payne Andrew, 85, of Ephrata, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Lancaster General Hospital.
He was born in Fetterville to the late Robert and Juliet (Diffenbaugh) Andrew and was the husband of Almeta (Burkholder) Andrew with whom he shared 62 years of marriage.
Justin was a member of the Ephrata Church of the Nazarene, where he drove bus for many years. He was a Phillies fan and enjoyed working on cars, and he was known to all his friends for his love of Fords. He had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren and family. He worked 42 years as a truck driver for Martin Limestone. After retirement he worked part time for Ephrata Auto Parts.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons: Ted L., husband of Joan M. (Binkley) Andrew of Ephrata; David, husband of Tammy (Jenkins) Andrew of Bowmansville; Douglas, husband of Terri (Kulp) Andrew of Ephrata; three daughters: Brenda, wife of Charles Reiff of Ephrata; Justine, wife of Edgar Miller of Denver; Patricia, wife of Scott Hartranft of McClure; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a sister: Jean, wife of Ned Guest of New Hope; and two sisters-in-law: Mary Andrew and Monique Andrew.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert and Merlin Andrew; and a sister: Phyllis Linton.
A viewing was held May 17 at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, Denver. An additional viewing was held May 18 at the Ephrata Church of the Nazarene, Ephrata, followed by his funeral service with Pastor Rocky Hambrick officiating. Interment took place in the Memory Gardens Memorial Cemetery.
