Katherine W. Kopp, 85, lifetime Swamp Christian Fellowship member, enjoyed world travel
Katherine W. Kopp, 85, of Reinholds, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016, at home.
She was born in Vinemont to the late Harry and Carrie (Wenrich) Gelsinger, and was the wife of the late Elmer E. Kopp, who passed away in 2014.
She was a lifetime member of the Swamp Christian Fellowship Church in Reinholds; and a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Reinholds VFW Post No. 6759. She enjoyed flowers and birds; and traveling the world with her husband, Elmer.
Katherine is survived by three daughters: Janet L. Knabb of Reinholds; Linda L., wife of Theodore Sauer, of Reinholds; Lisa M., wife of Michael DeMarco, of Prosper, Texas; four grandchildren: Jennifer H., wife of Eric Kepple, of Oakland, Md.; Elizabeth M., wife of Jesse Zimmerman, of Stevens; Michael and Sophia DeMarco of Prosper, Texas; three great-grandchildren: Hunter and Chase Kepple of Oakland, Md.; and Theo Elmer Zimmerman of Stevens.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings.
Services were held Dec. 31 at Swamp Christian Fellowship Church, Reinholds, with Pastor Bob Smallman officiating. Interment was in the Swamp Cemetery.
