Kathryn R. Light, 87, formerly of Denver, Peace UCC member, seamstress, enjoyed trips

Kathryn R. Light, 87, of Narvon, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015, at the Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center.

She was born in Denver to the late William and Elva (Keith) Lausch, and was the wife of the late Ray L. Light.

She was a member of the Peace United Church of Christ. Kathryn enjoyed genealogy, traveling, especially on bus trips, making quilts, afghans, and teddy bears. She worked as a seamstress for various factories.

Kathryn is survived by two sons: Larry, husband of Judy Light, of Ephrata; Dennis, husband of Rose Light, of Fleetwood; three daughters: Elva, wife of John Andrews, of New Holland; Diane, wife of Nevin Good, of New Holland; Mary Lou, wife of Dennis Sweigart, of Denver; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother: Clayton, husband of Mildred Lausch; sister: Esther, wife of Harvey Schlouch.

In addition to her parents and husband, Kathryn is preceded in death by, two sisters: Arlene Groff and Thelma Ziemer; and brother: William Lausch.

Services were held Oct. 30 at Peace United Church of Christ, Denver, with Pastor William E. Hoch officiating. Interment took place in the Muddy Creek Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery.
