Kay Lynn Wenrich, 78, Army Reserve vet, house painter, enjoyed outdoors, riding motorcycle

Kay Lynn Wenrich, 78, of Reading, formerly of Denver, passed away Friday, July 29, 2016, at home.

He was born in Lancaster County to the late John R. and Marie (Mellinger) Wenrich.

Lynn was a U.S. Army Reserve veteran. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Orioles Nest No. 54, enjoyed riding motorcycles, and was an avid outdoorsman. Lynn was a self-employed house painter.

He is survived by two daughters: Lisa R. Ruth, companion of Darrell Buchter; and Marla J., wife of Bruce Weaver; two granddaughters: Brittany Lyn Ruth and Ashlee E. Snyder; two great-grandsons: Damian James Snyder and Jacob David Snyder; and two loving caregivers: Edith F. Wenrich and Dorothy Wenrich.

He was preceded in death by a brother: Gene V. Wenrich; and two sisters: Karda Stover, and Esta Lorraine Hornberger.

At Lynn’s request, there will be no services.
