Kenneth H. Good, 67, Stevens, Griffith and Bixler manager, enjoyed son’s baseball

Kenneth H. Good, 67, of Stevens, died Saturday, Oct.17, 2015, at his home after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Horace B. and Edna (Horning) Good. He was married 15 years to Wendy R. (Morgan) Good.

Kenny was a graduate of Garden Spot High School. He worked for the past 42 years for Griffith and Bixler Furniture Store, most recently as warehouse manager. Kenny was a very popular and important part of the business. He also worked part time for the Green Hills Auction where they made him feel like part of the family.

He was a member of the Reading Hampden Heights Seventh Day Adventist Church in Temple and he was very happy that he had accepted Christ as his Savior. His greatest joys were attending his son’s baseball games and spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife; is a son: Garrett Kenneth Good, at home; and a sister: Laverne, married to Franklin Bair, of Leola. Although not blood relatives he is survived by numerous relatives on his wife’s side that were extremely dedicated to him.

Preceding him in death is a brother: Richard Good.

A memorial service will be held Oct. 25, at the Hampden Heights Church, 2706 Old Pricetown Road, Temple, at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Fund at the Reading Hampden Heights Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2706 Old Pricetown Road, Temple, PA 19560.
