Larry H. Yarnell, 74, formerly of Ephrata, Vietnam vet, attended Rogersville Baptist
Larry H. Yarnell, 74, of Washburn, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, at Ridgeview Terrace of Life Care in Rutledge, Tenn.
He was born and raised in Ephrata. Larry was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He loved Jesus, his church and his family. He was a member of Rogersville Baptist Temple and the Washburn Senior Center.
He is survived by his wife: Betty Yarnell; son: Michael Yarnell, both of the home; daughter: Lori Hensley (Randy) of Rutledge, Tenn.; six grandchildren: Elizabeth, Samuel, Daniel, Andrew, Rachel, and Sharon Hensley; brother: Rodney Long of Leola; sisters: Judy Horning of Lititz; and Joyce Brooks, Stoney Point, N.Y.
Military graveside honors were held Feb. 24 at The East Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery in Knoxville. A memorial service was held Feb. 26 Rogersville Baptist Temple.
