Loretta G. Weeks, 74, Denver, former school nurse in New York, volunteered at OMPH

Loretta G. Weeks, 74, Denver, died Jan. 29, 2015, in Maple Farms Nursing Center, Akron, after a brief illness.

She was born in Manhattan, N.Y., a daughter of Albert and Louise C. (Sheehan) Sanger. Her husband, Charles W. Weeks, died May 28, 2007.

Loretta was a school nurse at Sayville School District, Long Island, N.Y. As a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, she also volunteered at the school.

Surviving is a son: Brian C. Weeks, Leola; daughter: Jennifer L. Graser, Mount Joy; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

A sister, Elaine Menzel, predeceased her.

A viewing will be held Feb. 4 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Good Funeral Home, Reamstown. A burial mass will be held at 1 p.m. at OMPH Catholic Church, Ephrata. Final commendation and farewell will be at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
