Mae Kraft, 87, worked at Hope Hosiery, enjoyed going out to eat, Christmas shopping

Mae Kraft, 87, formerly of Ephrata, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017, at Manor Care Health Services, Sinking Spring.

She was born in Reinholds to the late Leroy and Rebecca Foltz, and was the wife of the late James Lee Kraft, with whom she shared 47 years of marriage before he passed away in 2006.

Mae was a machine operator for Hope Hosiery, Adamstown. She loved her family, going on fall trips to the mountains and going out to eat. She also enjoyed shopping, especially at Christmas time.

Mae is survived by a son: Duane Kraft; four daughters: Penny Mae Kraft; Melody, wife of Dave Burkhart; Wendy Sweigart; Mary Ann Kraft; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six siblings.

A graveside service was held Jan. 14 at the Swamp Cemetery.
