Maida Stricker, 86, OMPH member, enjoyed collecting dolls, bowling, traveling to New Mexico

Maida Stricker, 86, of Stevens, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at The Gardens at Stevens.

She was born in Puerto de Luna, N.M., to the late Josi Angel, and was the wife of Edwin Stricker, who died in 2013.

Maida was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She enjoyed collecting dolls, flea marketing and antiquing (sewing machines), bowling, and traveling to New Mexico to visit family.

Maida is survived by two children: John, husband of Haley (Orth) Stricker of Stevens; and Patricia Ann Jacobs of West Reading; four grandchildren: Brandon Edwin James Stricker and Madelynn Ann Stricker, both at home; Jeremy Guldin of Denver; and Sheree Guldin of Reinholds; two great-grandchildren; and six siblings: Julio, George, Jose, Stella, Rose, and Eileen.

In addition to her parents and husband, Maida was preceded in death by a son: Nicholas Stricker; and a sister: Delores.

A graveside service was held May 15 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, with Fr. Job Foote officiating. Kindly omit flowers.
