Marguerite Weinhold, 86, Bollman Hat employee
Marguerite "Mickey" A. Weinhold, 86, of Mohnton, passed away Monday, Sept. 24, 2012 at the Reading Hospital.
She was born in Adamstown to the late Martin and Nora (Keiffer) Althouse and was the wife of the late Paul H. Weinhold who died in 2005.
Mickey was a member of the Alleghenyville Lutheran Church, Mohnton. She enjoyed gardening and she loved to spend time with her family. For over 30 years, Mickey worked for Bollman Hat Factory, Adamstown.
She is survived by her five children: Linda J., wife of Howard Ream, of Newmanstown; Thomas P., husband of Bonnie (Youndt) Weinhold, of Gambrills, Md.; Brenda M., wife of Kenneth Baur, of Mohnton; Jerry D., husband of Jayne (Kline) Weinhold, of Birdsboro; and Troy A. Weinhold, of Mohnton; a brother: Earl, husband of Mary (Schanauer) Althouse, of Mohnton; a sister: Mary, wife of Harry Kring Jr., of Mohnton; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mickey was preceded in death by her brothers: Robert and Charles Althouse; and sisters: Ada Curley and Betty Althouse.
A viewing will be held Oct. 4 from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Allegheny Lutheran Church, 1327 Alleghenyville Road, Mohnton, followed her funeral service at 4 p.m. with Pastor Gregory Shreaves officiating. Interment will take place in the Allegheny Cemetery.
