Marie B. Hiles, 91, Antioch, Tenn., formerly of Maryland, died July 29, 2014, in South Hills Medical Center, Nashville, Tenn. She last resided at Good Samaritan Rehabilitation Center in Antioch.

Born in Washington, DC, a daughter of the late George W. and Eva J. (Miller) Ashby, she worked as a bank teller in Riverdale, Md.. She was a dedicated member and volunteer with the Salvation Army in Maryland and Tennessee.

Surviving is a daughter: Barbara E. Noel, Ephrata; sons: D. Wayne (Phoebe Wendell) Edwards, Churchton, Md., and George W. Edwards, Lanham, MD; grandchildren: Attorney James K. (Kimberly) Noel IV, Lancaster; Jennifer (Shannon) Sahm, Denver; and C. Robert Edwards, Churchton, Md.; and eight great-grandchildren.

A grandson: D. Wayne Edwards, Jr.; three sisters; and a brother predeceased her.

Private graveside services will be in Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, Md.
