Marion J. Kopf, 54, New Jersey, preschool teacher at St. John’s UMC in Hope, N.J.

Marion J. Kopf (M.E. Lines), 54, of Columbia, N.J., passed away Monday, Feb. 16, 2015. Marion was in the process of relocating to Ephrata at the time of her death.

Marion grew up in Succasunna, N.J., and was a graduate of Roxbury High School and Morris County College. She was employed by St. John’s United Methodist Church in Hope, N.J., as a preschool teacher. She had also been employed by Hartford Insurance and Baltica Reinsurance.

Surviving are Marion’s daughter: Alyssa Kopf; and son: Bryan Kopf, both of Columbia, N.J.; Peter Kopf, to whom she was a devoted wife of 24 years; father: Malcolm Lines, husband of Marge, of Succasunna, N.J.; mother: Janet Brooks, wife of Robert, of Whiting, N.J.; twin sister Margret Richardi, wife of Tom, of Ephrata; brother: Malcolm Lines, husband of Tina, of Peyton, Colo.; sisters: Melissa Springer, of Easton; Brittney Lines of Succasunna, N.J.; and 12 nieces and nephews to whom she was a loving aunt.

Services were held Feb. 21 at St. John’s United Methodist Church, Hope, N.J.
