Marjorie ‘Marge’ Brubaker, 94, EHS grad, Superior Court of New Jersey retiree, Lutheran counselor

Marjorie “Marge” Brubaker, 94, formerly of Sicklerville, N.J.; and Ephrata; passed away Jan. 1, 2016.

Born in Lancaster, Marge was a graduate of Ephrata High School and Lebanon Valley College. She retired in 1990 from the Superior Court of New Jersey in Woodbury.

Marge was an active member of Apostles Lutheran Church in Turnersville and was also cluster counselor of 14 Lutheran women groups and board member in the State of New Jersey.

Marge is survived by a sister: Naomi, wife of Joseph Shaak; and many nieces and nephews.

Marge is predeceased by her parents: Daniel L and Emma Brubaker; her brothers: Daniel A, Frederick, Abram, Eugene; and sisters: Kathryn Gerhart and Dorothy Coderre.

Relatives and friends are invited to Marge’s memorial service on Saturday, Jan. 16, at 10 a.m., at the Apostles Lutheran Church, 4401 Black Horse Pike, Turnersville, N.J. Interment will take place at Indiantown Mennonite Cemetery, Clay Township.
