Michael John Schonourm 47, Timet Metal Corp. worker, enjoyed hunting, time spent with family

Michael John Schonour, 47, of Denver, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Ephrata Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of Janice A. (Taylor) Schonour. Born in West Reading, he was the son of Grace V. (Kachel) Schonour, formerly of Brecknock Township, now of Terre Hill; and the late John I. Schonour
Michael was a 1986 graduate of Gov. Mifflin High School. He was employed by Timet Metal Corp., Morgantown, as a furnace operator for 21 years, last working May 3. Michael enjoyed hunting, gardening, and working, but his true love was being with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children: John H., husband of Mary (Sprecher) Schonour, New Holland; Megan N., wife of Nate Sokso, New Holland, and Micoleen K. Schonour, Denver. He is also survived by his sister: Michelle A. Schonour, Terre Hill; and will be sadly missed by his beloved dog: Molly.
A celebration of life service was held June 30 at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading.
