Mildred G. Sakewicz, 92, LPN at Crozier Medical Center, Carpenters Church, VFW Aux. member

Mildred G. Sakewicz, LPN, 92, of Ephrata, and formerly of Essington, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 24, at Ephrata Manor.
She was the loving wife of the late Joseph Sakewicz, and daughter of the late George H. Waite and Flora G. (Summers) Waite.
Mildred was born in Turtle Creek, and graduated from Ridley Township High School. She had been employed as a licensed practical nurse at the Crozier Chester Medical Center in Chester, and was a member of Carpenters Community Church in Talmage, and Cocalico Valley Post No. 3376 VFW Auxiliary in Ephrata.
She is survived by one son: Wayne J. Sakewicz of Ephrata; two grandchildren: Heather, wife of Nate Austin, of York; and Joseph W. Sakewicz, husband of Megan, of Custoosa, Okla.; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
