Nancy L. (Bond) Killian, 84, mother of three, Reading Hospital nurse, enjoyed scrapbooking

Nancy L. (Bond) Killian, 84, formerly of West Reading, passed away March 23, 2016, in the Ephrata Hospital.

Her husband of 59 years, Joseph E. Killian, passed away May 2, 2014. Born in 1932, in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Edna (Witwer) Bond.

Nancy graduated from Reading High School in 1950 and from the Reading Hospital School of Nursing in 1955. She also was a member of the Reading Hospital Alumni Association. She was employed by the Reading Hospital as a registered nurse prior to raising her children. She was a member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, West Reading. Nancy enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, and visiting with family and friends.

Nancy is survived by three children: Mark A., husband of Tracy Killian, Lancaster; Joanne L., wife of Mike Ezell, Akron; and Karin L., wife of Russell Sherman Jr., Blandon; four siblings: Richard P. Bond, Leesport; James O. Bond, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Harold L. Bond, Leesport; and Catharine A. Weller, Leesport; and five grandchildren: Julie Killian, Jason Killian, Joshua Killian, Russell Sherman III, and Joseph Sherman.

She was predeceased by seven siblings: Robert W. Bond; Lewis F. Bond; J. David Bond; Donald E. Bond; George Bond; Betty J. Kalbach; and Josephine W. Hartman.

Services were held March 28 at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading. Burial followed in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
