Nora W. Reiff, 81, Ephrata, Community Hospital LPN, Groffdale Mennonite Church member

Nora W. Reiff, 81, of Ephrata, died Friday, June 7, 2019 at Fairmount Homes after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Born in East Earl Township, she was a daughter of the late Christian and Florence M. (Weaver) Zimmerman. Her husband, Ammon Reiff, died Dec. 24, 2015.

Nora worked for 34 years as an LPN at the former Community Hospital in Lancaster. She was also a member of Groffdale Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.

Surviving are seven brothers and sisters: Etta W. (Lloyd) Stauffer, Dundee, N.Y.; Earl W. (Minerva) Zimmerman of Memphis, Mo.; Leah W. Zimmerman of Barnett, Mo.; Ruth W. (widow of Aaron) Zimmerman of Martinsburg; Titus W. (Anna) Zimmerman of New Holland; Martha W. (David) Zimmerman of Quarryville; and Luke W. (Sue Etta) Zimmerman of Barnett, Mo; eight stepchildren: Eva (Ammon) Martin of Mifflinburg; Ella (James) Reiff of Ephrata; Lena (Aaron) Martin of Penn Yan, N.Y.; Alta (Harry) Oberholtzer of Millmont; Lloyd (Marlene Shirk) Reiff of Lititz; Harvey (Ella Mae Sensenig) Reiff of Mifflinburg; Ivan (Sharon Sensenig) Reiff of Lititz; and Ammon Jr. (Jennifer Weaver) Reiff of Leola; 36 step-grandchildren; and 61 step-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death is a stepdaughter: Edna Oberholtzer.

Services were held June 12 at Groffdale Mennonite Church, with the Bishop Ammon Weaver officiating. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
