Norma Jean Paul, 57, attended Excentia, enjoyed dining out, shopping, had an infectious smile

Norma Jean Paul, 57, of Lititz, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017, at her home.

She was born in Ephrata to the late Arthur C. and Arlene M. (Harding) Paul.

Norma attended Ephrata Area Rehab Services for many years, followed by Shadowfax day program and most recently PAI/Excentia Adult Day facility where she was loved by many.

Norma lived with Tammy Myers and family over the course of 23 years, which included: June Johnston of Lititz; and Keith, Zach and Eric Myers from York. She was absolutely considered to be one of the family and was embraced by countless extended family and friends.

Norma loved to spend her free time paging through magazines, coloring, watching movies, socializing with friends, going out to eat, and shopping. She had an infectious smile and was always happy to see everyone. Words cannot describe how missed she will be, and how much she was loved.

Norma is survived by a brother: Emerson L. Paul; and her primary caregivers: Tammy Myers and June Johnston.

A viewing will be held Thursday, June 8, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Stradling Funeral Home, 30 N. Ninth St., Akron. An additional viewing will be held on Friday, June 9, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the funeral home, followed by her funeral service at 11 a.m., with Chaplain Nilda Roman officiating. Interment will take place in the Fairview Cemetery Annex in Denver.

The family wishes to extend their thanks to the entire staff of Excentia Inc., for the excellent care she received for over 35 years and allowing her to enjoy life to its fullest.
