Norman Walker, 79, Denver, driver for G&M Finishing, enjoyed working on antique vehicles

Norman Walker, 79, of Denver, passed away Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, at Lancaster General Hospital.

He was the husband of Marie A. (Kachel) Walker, and son of the late Levi and Esta (Habecker) Zartmen.

Norman attended Bethany United Church of Christ in Ephrata, and worked as a truck driver for G&M Finishing and a knitter for Mi-Jan Knitting Mill. He enjoyed gardening, yardwork, and working on antique cars and trucks. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and giving them rides on his antique John Deere tractor.

In addition to his wife: Marie; Norman is survived by one son: Bruce E. Walker, husband of Sherry L. (Spencer) Walker of Ephrata; and three grandsons: Brandon T. Walker of Lock Haven; Matthew C. Walker of Ephrata; and Jared S. Walker of Ephrata.

Services were held Oct. 10 at Paul L. Gravenor Home for Funerals, Ephrata, officiated by the Rev. William LaSalle. He was interred in Old Bethany Cemetery, Ephrata Township.
