Pablo Osvaldo Catalano, 77, Ephrata, policeman, owned a coffee shop, night club administrator

Pablo Osvaldo Catalano, 77, of Ephrata, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, at home.

Born Jan. 9, 1939, in Berazategui, Argentina, he was the son of the late Salvador Catalano and Cesarea Barba.

He was the husband of Carmen Maria Catalano for 13 years. They were married Sept. 16, 2003.

Pablo was a police officer in Argentina for two years. He was also a businessman, who owned a coffee shop; and was the administrator of Corso Night Club, all in New York, for 15 years. Pablo was a member of New York’s Lions Club for many years.

Also surviving are two children: Hugo O., husband of Denise Catalano, of Long Island, N.Y.; Patricia I., wife of Daniel Mahod, of California; a stepson: Brian E., husband of Emma M. Garcia, of Lancaster; seven grandchildren: Amanda and Michelle Catalano, Jason Mahod, Timothy, Emmanuel and Emily Garcia, Lauren Margolis; and two great-grandsons: Kayden and Lian Callaghan.

Services were held Feb. 13 at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home, Lancaster, with Deacon Miguel Granda officiating. Interment was in the Mellinger’s Mennonite Cemetery in Lancaster.
