Paula L. Snader, 74, Akron Lions member, enjoyed sports, reminiscing about Australia

Paula L. Snader, 74, of Akron, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at Brethren Village.

She was born in Warren, Ohio, to the late Paul D. and Virginia (Wyant) Engle, and was the wife of Bruce R. Snader, with whom she shared 49 years of marriage.

She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church. Paula was a member of the Akron Lions Club and the Akron Lioness Club. She enjoyed bowling and watching football and baseball. She loved to travel and laugh with her friends and cherished memories of the life in Australia.

In addition to her husband, Paula is survived by three children: Guy S. Snader of Australia; Debra M., wife of Jorn H. Martzall, of Stevens; Mylene R., wife of Kevin M. Ream, of Ephrata; seven grandchildren: Greg S. Snader, Garret S. Snader, Grant S. Snader, Kylie R. Roth, Alexander S. Kautz, Elianna M. Ream, and Malachi M. Ream; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister: Nellie Mae Eckert.

A visitation will be held June 10, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Grace Fellowship Church, 822 Pointview Ave., Ephrata, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m., with Dr. Franklin D. Rice officiating. Interment will take place in the Mount Zion Evangelical Cemetery, Akron.
