Rebecca H. Burkholder, 77, attended Conestoga Mennonite had 243 grand-nieces, grand-nephews

Rebecca H. Burkholder, 77, of Ephrata, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017, at home.

She was born in West Earl Township to the late Joseph O. and Susanna E. (High) Burkholder.

She was a member of Conestoga Mennonite Church (Groffdale Conference)

Rebecca is survived by six brothers: Amos Burkholder of Tennessee; Luke Burkholder of Missouri; Melvin, husband of Lizzie (Shirk) Burkholder, of Hahnstown; Phares J., husband of Lydia (Zimmerman) Burkholder of Wisconsin, Allen D., husband of Anna Ruth (Martin) Burkholder, of Lebanon; Norman H., husband of Norma (Eberly) Burkholder, of Schoeneck; two sisters: Mary H. Burkholder of Ephrata; Annie H. Burkholder of Ephrata; 40 nieces and nephews; and 243 grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 27, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., at the late residence, 630 E. Metzler Road, Ephrata. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 28, at 8:30 a.m., at the late residence with further services at 9:30 a.m., from the Groffdale Frame Mennonite Church, West Earl Township, with Bishop Ammon Weaver officiating. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
