Rev. Paul Michael Boyd, 60, Army vet, construction worker, chaplain of Columbia AmVets Post

Rev. Paul Michael Boyd, 60, of Columbia, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, with Sue, his loving wife, at his side at Lancaster Regional Hospital.

Paul was born in Lancaster to Robert T. Boyd and Kathryn E. (Thompson) Boyd on Oct. 15, 1957.

Paul worked in the construction industry for a number of years. He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Army and was the chaplain of the Columbia AmVets Post 153.

Preceding Paul in death was his mother: Kathryn.

Surviving Paul are his father: Robert, T, Boyd of Stevens; his wife: Sue A. (Gahring) Boyd; four sons: Paul M. Boyd Jr., husband of Angela of Ephrata; Elijah P. Boyd, husband of Nicole of Ephrata; Isaiah Boyd of Palmyra; and Zachariah R. Boyd, husband of Kaitlin of Ephrata. Also, surviving are two brothers: Robert Boyd, husband of Toni of Hopeland; Richard Boyd of Ephrata, husband of Debra; a sister: Virginia Boyd of Stevens; and 23 grandchildren
