Richard E. Stuber, 77, Dart Container maintenance worker, enjoyed tinkering, yard sales

Richard E. Stuber, 77, of Denver, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016, at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

He was born in Lancaster to the late John and Helen (Shimp) Stuber; and was the husband of the late Stella R. (Ingram) Stuber, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage, before her passing in 2009.

Richard worked in maintenance at Dart Container before his retirement in 2005. He enjoyed going to yard sales and tinkering in his garage; as well spending time with his family, especially his dog, Coco.

Richard is survived by a son: Randy L., husband of Brenda (Spang) Stuber, of Denver; a daughter: Debra L., wife of Ronald L. Kramer; five grandchildren: Michelle, wife of Derek Bell; Kelly Stuber, fiancé of Tyler Arndt; Brian Kramer; and twins, Lisa and Dana Kramer; one great-grandchild: Autumn R. Bell, and another due in September.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Barry L. Stuber.

Services were held July 26 at Roseboro Stradling Funeral and Cremation Services, Denver. Interment took place in the Fairview Cemetery Annex.
