Rosalie F. “Rosie” Yeakel, 68, of Lincoln-Ephrata, passed away at Manor Care in Sinking Spring, Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013 after a short illness.

She was the wife of Chester L. Yeakel and daughter of the late William and Sadie (Hertzog) Sensenig.

Rosie was born in Lincoln and was a lifetime resident of the Lincoln-Ephrata area. She was a 1963 graduate of Ephrata High School and was a member of the Bible Fellowship Church of Ephrata and the Lincoln Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

For 36 years, Rosie worked at Tyson Foods in New Holland and most recently was a cashier at Martin’s Country Market in Ephrata for almost 20 years.

Rosie will be missed by her family and many friends.

In addition to her husband, Chester, Rosie is survived by three children: Julia R., wife of Jay Wanner, of Lincoln; Jay R. Dull, husband of Sharon (Wanner) Dull, of Lincoln and Joleen R. Dull, fiancé of Michael Schwietzer, of Ephrata; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother: Roy E. Zimmerman, husband of Kathryn (Ober) Zimmerman, of Lititz.

Memorial services were held Nov. 29 at the Bible Fellowship Church of Ephrata with The Reverend Ralph Soper officiating. Interment is private at the convenience of the family.

Services are under the care of Paul L. Gravenor Home For Funerals, Ephrata.
