Rosalina “Rose” Serrano, 71, of Ephrata, passed away, peacefully in her sleep, Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013.

Rosalina was married to Melanio “Mel” Serrano, with whom she celebrated 54 years of marriage on Oct. 16, 2013.

Rose was a stay-at-home mom, who later went on to work at the Ephrata Shoe Company and the Inns at Donecker’s in Ephrata.

Rosalina was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Her favorite pastime was spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Yolanda, wife of Jeffrey Diem and Cynthia, wife of Richard Potts, both of Ephrata; three grandchildren: Danielle, Alex, and Brian; four brothers and one step-sister.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents.

Friends attended funeral services at Paul L. Gravenor Home For Funerals, Ephrata, Dec. 2 with the Reverend Timothy L. Craven officiating.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
