Ruth Arlene Spotts. 91, long-time Bollman Hat Co. worker, attended St. Paul’s UCC

Ruth Arlene Spotts, 91, formerly of Bowmansville, died July 25, 2016, in Avalon Southwest Health and Rehabilitation Center, Tucson, Ariz., where she resided the past six years.

Born in Bowmansville, a daughter of the late Martin G. and Jennie (Good) Spotts.

She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Bowmansville. Arlene worked for Bollman Hat Co., Adamstown, for 44 years.

Surviving are nephews: Kenneth M. Spotts, Tucson, Ariz., with whom she last resided; Frederick J. Spotts, Mohnton; Leon R. Spotts, Cleburne, Texas; Donald Coldren, Mechanicsburg; and Robert Coldren, Harrisburg; and a niece: Barbara Woods, Adamstown.

A memorial service will be announced at a future date with inurnment in Bowmansville Union Cemetery.
