Thelma L. Lehman, 71, Ephrata, Maple Farms CNA, member of Nazarene church

Thelma L. Lehman, 71, of the Ephrata/Akron area, passed away Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, at Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community.

She was born in Leola to the late Harold P. and Ann Mary (Cunningham) Kellenberger and was the wife of the late John D. Lehman Sr., who passed away in 2005.

Thelma was a member of the Ephrata Church of the Nazarene. She had worked as a certified nursing assistant at Maple Farms, Akron. She enjoyed spending time with her children.

She is survived by a son: Daniel K., husband of Jennifer L. Hassler; a daughter: Kellie J. Hassler; a grandson: Cody L. Brown; and two sisters: Shirley Miller and Verna Lint.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Harold P. Kellenberger; and an infant brother.

A visitation will be held Saturday, Feb. 14, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the Ephrata Church of the Nazarene, 110 Durlach Road, Ephrata, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in the Mellinger’s Mennonite Cemetery, Lancaster.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Thelma’s memory may be made to Hospice & Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
