Thomas A. Shank, 54, Ephrata, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, in Ephrata Community Hospital.

Born in Lititz, he was a son of Doris Hershey, Lititz, and Carl F. Shank, The Villages, Fla.

Tom was an auto detailer with Keller Brothers, Lebanon. He was a Redskins football fan and an avid NASCAR enthusiast, especially Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Surviving in addition to his parents is his wife of 19 years: Tammy S. (Franck) Shank; and his sister: Amy J. Shank, Lancaster.

A celebration of Thomas’ life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9, at 3 p.m., from Akron United Zion Church, 31 S. 10th St., Akron, with Rev. Kenneth Redcay officiating.

Rather than flowers, remember Tom with contributions to the American Heart Association, 310 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603; and the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive #900, Arlington, PA 22202.
