Troy M. Crowther, 44, worked for Latshaw Bros., enjoyed saltwater fishing, Steelers

Troy M. Crowther, 44, of Bowmansville, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, at his home.

He was the son of Linda Lou (Sweigart) Echternacht of Denver and the late Allan “Skip” Echternacht; and was the husband of Isabella (Mineo) Crowther, with whom he shared 23 years of marriage on March 16.

Troy was of the Christian Faith. He enjoyed wood refinishing, fresh and saltwater fishing, and all types of music, and dancing. He was an avid fan of Penn State football, Pittsburgh Steelers, and NHRA Drag Racing. Troy had worked as a commercial concrete finisher for Latshaw Bros. in Denver.

In addition to his mother and wife, Troy is survived by two sons: Salvatore Troy and Jacob Allan Crowther, both at home; a brother: Anthony, husband of Michele (Yinger) Echternacht of Quentin; two sisters: Kelly Sweigart, wife of John Althouse, of Ephrata; and Mindy Lorraine Echternacht of Denver; a step-sister: Lucinda, wife of Justin Mattu of Adamstown; and two step-brothers: Allan, husband of Tamara Echternacht, of Canada; and George, husband of Virginia Echternacht, of Ephrata; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Oct. 19 at Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, Denver, with Pastor Brian Harkins officiating. Interment took place in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring.
