Virginia L. Good, 91, homemaker, Morgantown UMC member, enjoyed singing, quilting

Virginia L. Good, 91, of Ephrata, formerly of Elverson, passed away on Monday, Jan. 1, 2018 at Ephrata Manor, following an illness.

She was born on May 6, 1926 in Akron, Ohio. Virginia was the daughter of the late Ralph H. and Rintha A. (Hale) Smith. She was the wife of the late Raymond G. Good, who died on Aug. 2, 2011.

Virginia was a homemaker to her beloved family. She was a member of the former Morgantown United Methodist Church. She enjoyed singing and quilting.

She was preceded in death by two sisters: Shirley M. Frey and Opal J. Smith.

Virginia is survived by two sons: Dale E. Good of Gilbert, Ariz.; and Kenneth R. Good of Pottstown; and two daughters: Karen S. Fellenbaum of Honey Brook; and Gale A. Thompson of Amado, Ariz. There are eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at 11 a.m. from The Labs Funeral Home, 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, with Pastor Coleen Painter officiating. Interment will follow at the Caernarvon Cemetery. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Virginia to the Elverson United Methodist Church Organ Fund, 32 E. Main St., Elverson, PA 19520.
