Ephrata Police Report, February 16, 2017
The Ephrata Police Department reported the following:
WARRANT: Police obtained arrest warrants for two brothers for burglarizing an Adamstown business.
Management at Stoudt’s Black Angus, 2800 North Reading Road, Adamstown Borough, reported that video surveillance captured two men entering their production facility and stealing seven kegs at 6:29 a.m. Jan. 17. The men returned on Jan. 19 at 9:30 a.m. but were interrupted by an employee who recorded the suspect’s vehicle registration as they fled.
Police charged Justin Ryan Eichman, 32, and Robert P. Eichman IV, 38, with burglary and criminal conspiracy and obtained warrants for their arrest. Both brothers have ties to Reading and Manheim. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the Eichman brothers is asked to contact police at 733-8611.
WARRANT: Two Adamstown residents were taken into custody Feb. 10 on warrants for charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
John Mentzer, 39, and Tanya Moberly, 33, (also know as Tanya McNeil) had been charged following an incident Jan. 27 at their apartment in the 100 block of East Main Street in Adamstown Borough. Police found methamphetamine, smoking devices, and other drug paraphernalia in the apartment. Mentzer and Moberly were arraigned by District Justice Nancy Hamill and were committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of bail.
