Fischer, Robertson married in Reinholds

Amanda Lynn Fischer, of Jefferson, Md., and Matthew William Robertson, of Monrovia, Md., were wed May 26 in Reinholds.

Amanda is the daughter of Rick and Joan Fischer, Reinholds. She graduated from Cocalico High School in 1992 and received her Master of Music degree in voice performance from the University of Akron. She works as a senior project manager for Regent Education in Frederick, Md.

Matthew is the son of the late William Arthur Robertson and Scarlet Smith Robertson, Beltsville, Md. He is a 1993 graduate of Highpoint High School in Beltsville, Md., and is employed as a train dispatcher for CSX Transportation in Baltimore, Md.

The outdoor ceremony and reception were held at the Fischers’ home in Reinholds with the Rev. Kelly Jo Singleton officiating. With just 20 of their closest family members and friends in attendance at the intimate event, the couple’s beloved dog, Gordon, served as the ring bearer, and Amanda’s parents’ dog, Molly, served as flower girl.

The couple honeymooned in Cape May, N.J., and will reside in Monrovia, Md.
