The Ephrata High School swim teams ran into a tough opponent Tuesday night at the Lititz Rec Center as host Warwick pulled off a dominant boys/girls sweep.

In boys’ action, Ephrata earned just a pair of event wins in the 109-39 Warrior victory. Jon Husson earned the only individual win as he claimed the 50 free in a time of 23.26. Ephrata added a win in the 200 free relay as the team of Matthias Hoffer, Stone Brunner, Jesse Eshelman and Husson swam to victory in a time of 1:45.38.

On the girls’ side, the Lady Warriors were nearly as impressive, winning 108-61.

The Ephrata girls got two wins each from Kylee Parsons and Katie Zell for the team’s lone victories on the night. Parsons took both the 200 free (1:58.17) and 500 free (5:18.08) while Zell was a winner in the 200 IM (2:21.19) and 100 breast (1:12.55) events.
