Dr. Charles Yeager, podiatrist, has relocated his Ephrata office to 29 Cloister Ave., just one block off Main St. and a block from the hospital. This location offers plenty of off-street parking and gentle ramp access that is handicapped accessible. Though many people may remember this as the site of the former Rec Center, the 2,000 square foot space has been totally renovated. “Patients have been commenting on how much they like the new office space. They are saying that they find it more comfortable and personable,” says Dr. Yeager. There are four treatment rooms and three assistants to offer improved care for patients. Dr. Yeager has been offering foot care for more than 35 years. That includes medical diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle problems, such as painful flat feet and ankles, ingrown toenails, toenail fungus, warts, corns, callouses, bunions, heel pain, heel spurs (plantar fasciitis), hammertoes, neuromas, sprains, fractures, infections and injuries of the foot and ankle. The office provides diabetic foot care and assists patients in obtaining diabetic depth shoes and inserts through Medicare and Medicare Advantage Programs.

Interestingly, patients who are not diabetic are taking advantage of the opportunity to be fitted for shoes as well. “Many people remember this building as a hub of activity in Ephrata,”says Dr. Yeager, adding that he is pleased to be located in a building with such fond memories for Ephrata people. “I think patients will be very pleased with our new location,”says Dr. Yeager. “Our goal is to serve patients in the best way possible.”To make an appointment with Dr. Yeager for your foot care needs, please call 733-5556.
